The softlog.scan desktop pop-up allows each staff member to browse their own scanned jobs, regardless of where the scanner equipment is located. Jobs can only be released by nominating the appropriate Account, Internal Cost Centre or Job Code.
Staff can release a scanned job from their own desktop and transmit it as an email attachment. They have complete control over the destination email address and can include copy email addresses. Staff can even include their own custom subject and optional body text and can also choose the attachment file format for example, PDF, TIF, GIF or JPG.

Admin profiles can be set up to force a copy of all scanned documents to be released to a particular folder. The name of this folder is very flexible and can be based on user or account information. This is very useful as a document management tool in it's own right, but other document management systems may pick up the job from this location.

Instant validation of Client and Cost Centre charge codes means that a scanned job will only be released if it has been correctly allocated. Staff can select from a powerful account lookup list which includes Client and Charge Code descriptions. It's so easy for your staff to allocate a job correctly.
