softlog.print operates under Windows™ 98, 2000, XP or higher and is compatible with popular Word Processors such as Microsoft Word & Wordperfect and Spreadsheets such as Excel and Lotus and virtually any other application that supports standard Windows printing.
Only those staff with a valid PIN Access Code can print documents, providing your organisation with an additional level of security and detailed audit trails of every staff member's jobs.
Instant validation of Account and Job charge codes means that a job will only be printed if it has been correctly allocated ensuring that you gain maximum printing cost control & recovery levels.
You can allocate printing jobs by selecting from an instant look-up list which includes Account, Client and Charge Code Descriptions. It's a simple matter for your staff to allocate a job correctly.
Automatically redirects your staff to use another printer if the printer they are using is inappropriate for the type of print job – for example, staff may be trying to print a large job on a low-volume printer. This feature can save printing costs by ensuring that staff use the equipment that is best suited to the job they are printing.
