Native Windows Application

Supports Multiple Copier/Fax Devices
Controls any practical combination of photocopiers or facsimile machines including any MFD combination from a single workstation, minimising your hardware costs.

Incoming Fax Notification
You can nominate one or more staff members, to be notified via email, every time an incoming fax is received.

Email Confirmation Of Outgoing Faxes
Staff can be notified via email that their own outgoing faxes have been successfully transmitted.

Personal Lists And Look-Ups
Features an automatic “most recently used” account code list for each user along with a "personal" list that staff can create themselves.

Pricing Flexibility
Almost any form of pricing structure can be set-up and managed for Copying and Faxing charges. For example, you may wish to charge a flat rate per page, apply a base rate per job, use stair-cased pricing or a combination of all three. These are just some of the many pricing options available, providing you with the flexibility and control to make any changes to your pricing structure quickly and simply.

Staff Pin Security
Staff must enter a valid PIN security code to gain access to the attached equipment. This provides the firm with total security over their equipment and also allows the firm to track, monitor and identify the usage.

Client Validation
Staff must enter a valid Client/Matter charge code otherwise their job will not proceed. Client/Matter codes are validated against your live Softlog database. However, Softlog also automatically maintains a local copy of the firm's Client/Matter file so that if a workstation becomes disconnected from the network, full functionality is maintained.

Office Codes
An unlimited number of internal Office Codes can be pre-defined, each with its own rate, for costing of all non-chargeable photocopying/facsimiles. Staff can easily select the correct Office Code from a drop-down pick-list.

Auto-Remarks
Remarks can be entered for both chargeable and non-chargeable jobs. Lists of pre-defined remarks can also be set up for fast selection by staff when entering a job.

Built-in Sundry Charges Module
This module is incorporated into softlog.copy/fax, allowing staff to record a wide range of additional costs such as Couriers, Binding, Postage, even while copying and fax jobs are being processed. For example, a staff member could call up the Sundry Charges window while in the middle of a copying job to record associated costs such as Binding, Stapling, etc.

Tenants Are Automatically Charged
Simply by entering their PIN security code a tenant’s copy and fax jobs will be automatically allocated to that tenant’s account code for billing. This feature is designed especially for environments such as Serviced Offices and Real Estate Offices.

Network Data Protection
Should your network develop a fault then it is vital to ensure that your copy/fax workstations can continue to be operated normally. Softlog doubly protects you, not only by temporarily storing jobs locally, but importantly by also maintaining a mirror image of the entire client/matter and user files on every workstation ensuring that validation can continue to be performed against every job.

softlog.enterprise Integration
Jobs captured by each cost monitoring module are saved into the Softlog.Enterprise client/server SQL database. This powerful management suite includes features such as automatic reporting, export of billing data to your central accounting system, centralised multi-window browsing and powerful drill-down querying options - providing your organisation with the management tools that allow you to achieve significantly higher results.
